this game is fun. the problem is the optimization. the frame rate is not stable even though the gamedoesn't need high spec to play it

I'd like more of these games please.

Trails is a dark and complex story wrapped in a cute shell. It features a unique and interesting combat system, which allows you to switch from real-time to turn-based. It has memorable and loveable characters, a bunch of side quests, and a solid main story which starts off small and becomes this huge world-ending event before you know it. There are also some twists to the story line that I found very enjoyable.

Now off to play the sequel!

Great Game

Reverie was already a major step up from CS4's gabage fire and this continues that upward trend on a whole new arc revolving around the grungier parts of Zemuria.

Find many weird troubled children and adopt them, make increasingly shady and bizarre friends ranging from phantom thieves to mobsters and go watch movies with them, enter a drag race to defend the honor of your one true love(your truck), find white supremacists and introduce them to the not-chinese triad, buy black-market viagra to restore your CP, never shut up about cake, there's a lot to experience on the Calvardian streets and it's all delightful.

Trails through Daybreak is a good addition to the Trails franchise. World building, characters and dialogue are great as always in the series. Van Arkride and his crew are a likeable bunch, they can definitely hold a candle to Class VII, the SSS and the ragtag team of the Bright siblings. The dialogue is really well done in Daybreak, with lots of hilarious banter. The story is good and keeps you motivated. It's not my favorite storyline in the franchise, but I enjoyed it nontheless. In terms of gameplay Daybreak is the most refined game so far. Calvard as a new setting is very interesting. Since it played an important role in previous installments, I really enjoyed being able to explore Calvard for the first time. The graphics are an improvement compared to previous installments. The soundtrack is very good, as you'd expect from Falcom's music team. If you are a fan of the Trails series, this game is a must-buy. If you are new to the series, Daybreak might be a good starting point. It's a very good game, which I'd recommend to any (J)RPG fan.
