I'm aware that NIS data won't carry over to the CLE version but its also not 100% clear what the conditions that are needed to get the bonuses from what I've read. Some sources claim it needs to be nightmare mode with max lv5 alignments with AAA rank on the save file. Some claim its only based on max alignment. I'm not sure what exactly you need for it. I'm about to plat the game basically and I have a ng+ save file by the final boss with max alignment and not AAA rank since i decided to skip on some sid...

It seems like there are many places you should have been able to do gambling minigames yet we can not do any. Is this a new direction for Trails or just not included in the first game for the new arc? Like there's nothing so far and I'm at the start of chap 4. I always liked the minigames and gambling in previous titles so I feel like this is a missed opportunity. Especially considering how this game seems to be brave enough to show other previously unseen adult themes in the world....

Topic, but mostly why is it rated so highly on steam but only meh to good elsewhere? Gaming budget is tight after Christmas and I'm already on thin ice for so many refunds so I just need to be cautious. I have a steam deck and switch only, no pc.

I would admit this the only Trails game I was able to tolerate and finish as the other entries are all boring in terms of story. A lot of people are saying that the older titles get good at the middle but the problem is how are you going to get to the middle if the start is already slog to begin with. Being a fixer in a story is something very uncommon in JRPG as usually you are a protagonist that should save the world in some sense.
