Steam Workshop maps not showing up ingame

Why are Steam Workshop maps not showing up in the Map Selection in game (whether Map Editor or Free Build) when i download them through Steam?

Workshopmaps are locked and can not be edited in the editor. Atleast not without an external programm.
Maps have types. So for instance a free build map shows up in free build, but an invasion map under the map in the invasion menu. Workshop should list the type of the map somewhere on the map page in steam and you can filter for specific types in case you look for something specific. Hope i could help
