2nd - ignite the food production. Here it is hunters posts, later it is wheat fields. Hunter's post better be placed not very far from Granary, but in the direction of a herd of deer.
3nd - ignite the weapon production. Place Armoury close to the stockpile, and Fletcher's house close to them both. Fletcher is the slowest walking worker, so his house has the highest priority to be placed as close as possible to the stockpile.
The build order:
Initially you have 8 supply (8 workers)
- Place 5 woodcutters and 3 hunters
- Build a supply (Hovel) to have 8 more workers.
- Build Fletcher's house, a couple more woodcutters and hunters
- Build armoury (you have time while Flether's makes the first bow)
- Build second Fletcher
- Build Barracks
- Stop building production and spare a couple of workers unnasigned (you assign one when build a production building)
- The unnasigned workers appear in the Barracks to be hired as archers*.
- Start hiring archers and collecting them
- Start building gates and wall. The wall must be sealed.
- Build a gate in the wolfs direction and engage them from it with archers. But engage with 5+ archers. Set archers in the aggresive stance ("fist" icon)
- Eradicate the wolfs engaging them from the maximum distance
- Leave around 4 archers at home, once you will have 6 against the wolfs
* Military units don't count in any metrics, they are substracted from population once hired and don't keep supply

- 1* "Your popularity is falling". In the bottom right corner there is a "Scribe" guy in the hood, holding the book.
There is a big number with an arrow. This is your popularity.
If popularity is less than 50, then "people are leaving the castle". It is not acceptable, watch your popularity and keep it above 50 by food (press G) or bribe (press H). Otherwise you will loose all workers that give your resources to keep the popularity, and you get bankrupt.
- 2 Your workers are being killed on the job by wolfs, bears, enemies, pest, fire, maybe alcohol. Then you have to wait, when new workers will come to the castle one by one (if you have 50+ popularity)
- 3 It is not the case, but you also can loose workers yourself by the "Hold work" button -> recruit them in the Barracks. Later you will figure out how to use it in your profit.
* There are additional powerful events, that will decrease your popularity
- crowding - your Hovels got destroyed, workers have nowhere to live.
- wolfs and pest by themselves are reasons people will not like you (I heard people don't like California governor for the fire)
