im scared tro buy it , i know people will come back when the new charachters release but i feel like its just for a couple days and the game stays dead. will this game be wrth buyuing later when its cheaper, or buy it now?

I just got this game on sale, but really not too sure about it, given how the game seems to lean more heavily into the online stuff than the single player content. Plus I don't really vibe with the aesthetics the same way I did for the original.
