Windows 10!

Dear players,

I have summarised all information from the results of the last JA2WF update (Windows 10 compatibility) and despite the fact that many players were able to launch it on Windows 10, many of us still сan not do it.

Taking this into account, I decided to delete announcement of Windows 10 compatibility, until Windows 10 will be fully supported, in order to not mislead new players.

What Can You do to run game on Windows 10 machine:
1)Run game using WF6.exe from game folder.
2)Run game using WF6.exe from game folder using admin privileges (Run as administrator).
3)Delete Intro.slf from Data folder.
4)Use compatibility mode with Windows 7 for WF6.exe.

you can play the game ,but it seems that are other errors too. i have a black screen on the tactical map on the entry "place choose" on the map where you can put your soldiers.

you can place your Mercs with luck on the black screen and play the game but it is anoying as hell.

My Experience on Win/Vista.... That the Game Laggs only on Win Vista... On Windows 98 was definitely better :D

Great game !
Works under XP and 7. Under Windows 10 too many temporary black screens...
CPU i5 7500 1050 TI

Had the same problem and the solution worked for me (remove the intro file from Data). Just a little bit of extra information for those that don't know where to locate the correct folder, follow the path below.
