I really like how some of the characters prove to be just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ people. Not pure evil or anything, just greedy or selfish or even too dumb and unwilling to change for the better.

First playthrough on a permanent save, i got Cecils and Dawns conflict event, and ended up siding with Cecil, rather surprised how stubborn and bitter dawn was being. Dawn hates me now and I dont get any more content with her (Oh well).

I start cecils personal quest and turns out he actually is a bad person, stealing peoples life force to extend his mothers life. At first I thought "Oh thats sad, his mother a terrible selfish person but he loves her enough to do something pretty evil for her sake"

No, turns out at some point he decided to start stealing peoples life for his own sake as well. Absolutely horrible and unforgivable in my opinion, man deserved to be executed, but the writing was hinting that turning him to the townspeople would get him killed or ran out of town, so thats what I did. I was disappointed that everyone was pretty chill about it apparently, since the event just ends. Didn't even get to go back on my word and kill him anymore.

Ended up marrying Eria that save and shes also a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ person and I very much regretted marrying her. All her marriage events are just her being stubborn and complaining about magic and the void, trying to start a war with her neighbours and blocking children from getting help from charities. Epilogue says she finally lets go after years of marriage, but too little too late, the lady's a ♥♥♥♥♥ and I should've married Lilith or Camilla like I originally planned.

I enjoy these 2 characters for those reasons though.

Unfortunately I find about 1/3rd of the cast to be completely unlikeable due to how dry or boring they are, just complete exposition dumpers or a total void of personality and i've skipped entire characters dialogue events from start to finish (Jerome, Moira, and Gaird since he only is sorta interesting once he hates you).

Anyone else have any stand out characters they like for similiar reasons?
