No importa si este juego tiene mas de 20 años, sigue siendo uno de los mejores juegos en todo Steam, con sus gráficos adelantados a su época es de aplaudir

A couple of weeks ago marked the game's 20th anniversary, and the developers introduced new achievements along with several modern updates.

After 20 years, the game still captures the true essence of Half-Life, and let’s not forget the game’s original installment; it all began there. The entire Half-Life era and the gaming industry expanded significantly from that moment in the early 2000s. Valve must seriously continue that game! Half-Life 3 will also be Game of the Year! It will happen!! Correct, Mr. Freeman?!

Half-Life 2, now 20 years old, remains a timeless masterpiece. Its groundbreaking physics, immersive world-building, and tight storytelling still captivate players. Despite its age, it’s a must-play, showcasing a perfect blend of action, puzzle-solving, and narrative depth.

An Amazing game with a strong narrative and characters that still holds up to 2025. Where's Half life 3 though?

Half life and Half life 2 , defined the second generation FPS genre, taking whats affectionately if innacurately known as the "boomer shooter" (kids, it was a Gen X genre, Boomers those cats gave us Pacman, us Gen Xs gave you Doom) , and adding a degree of narrative sophistication, thoughtful gameplay design, and immersion previously unimagined. While HL1 shows its age (Its 26 years old, I'd suggest newcomers play the Black Mesa reboot for a more modern retelling of the story, its pretty faithful to the original) , Half life 2 could easily come out in 2025 ., two decades after its release , and while the low polycount would raise a few eyebrows, it'd likely be celebrated as a genuinely thoughtfully designed and tensely paced game. Its extremely playable, and to my surprise, Valve are STILL putting out fixes and tweaks. The two mini-episodes (pt 1 and pt2) further expand the story, while adding technological improvements and a more condensed episodal gameplay.

Anyway, in summary, VALVE PLEASE DO HL3 FFS. Alyx cant hang off that cliff forever..
