Every time I load the game on steam VR all the shadows are completely broken and every character and model is very low poly and distorted, is there any way to fix it?

I wanna know if the game isn't supporting valve index, it means that I can't play at all on a valve index, or there are minor things like finger tracking or something like this? Please let me know if it's worth buying the game tomorrow (when it launches) or waiting until valve index compatibility is released....
