CRYENGINE

CRYENGINE

What’s the license for cryengine 3 SDK?
I'm still using cryengine 3 sdk. but I can't find any things at cryengine.com?
So If I am going to release a game on steam for free, how much royalty I should pay for it?I would be grateful if someone could answer this question.:steamhappy:

payment to release a cryengine game is nothing, royalties are nothing if I remember correctly. The newest versions of CryEngine are 5% royalties but not the previous entries.

If you somehow still have EaaS, that has no royalties.

But I do believe CE3 outside of Steam has royalties

The eaas program was shut down.
So the royalties of eaas are no longer used?

If you dont have EaaS, then you would have another version of CE3, which has royalties. It would be better to move over to CEV. The GameSDK still has all the bells and whistles from CE3.

You'd have to consult the Cryengine documentation to see how GameSDK works.
