Here I am, playing through the campaigns for the 25th or so time. I have re-played both Tib Sun and Firestorm every year since I first got to as a kid back in 1999 when it first released.

Lots of people say that Red Alert 2 is the better game but nothing beats the vibe they locked down in Tib Sun. The gameplay it self is still decent though it would be way better to have functional WASD for camera movement instead of me hurting my old man hand (arthritis lmao) by holding down right click for 15+minutes at a time. It's a strange and sometimes buggy game but I'll never stop coming back for more.

The years have passed, and this is still a stellar RTS. Some campaign missions might be a bit contrived and require assistance to understand what the game wants you to do, but most missions are open enough for you to come up with your own strategy.

Unlike games of today, charging 15$ for a skin, this game's expansion introduces a slew of new units that provide much needed balance and new ways to play.

If you've already played it, give in to nostalgia. If you've never played it, you're in for a great ride.

I wasnt even born when this game first came out!
But I can say this is a good game for chilling.
I can imagine 90s and 00s folk chilling with their CRT screen PC while Growing Brain tumor!
