game runs so bad I can't leave the first dungeon
It's been this was for a while now, year plus I believe, I had a good playthrough going and than I boot the game up one day to it being so laggy the game can't actually stay open for long. Went from running fine to extreme stutters and lag. I'm on a 3060, not like that matters much because this game should run on a borderline potato anyways. I'm on a different computer now and I still have the same issue, any mods or tweaks that make this game run at all?

get 4GB patcher, just look up Oblivion 4GB patch

I think I have fixed the issue, it was the music in game making it stutter, going in and out of combat always made the game hitch for a second. I fixed it by installing this thing called EAX, it was something on old games that made the audio more directional. I than just installed the oblivion stutter remover and it completely fixed the issue.
