Be warned, this game no longer works, even with the launcher patch. Not working on 8/7/2024 on windows 11.

It needs games for windows live - but GFWL itself (A service) no longer works. MS closed it down in 2013 !!!

If you buy this, you will not be able to play, It just closes silently a few seconds after you click play.

This game held up really well considering it was released in 2008, I didn't expect it to be this good.

Just whatever you do, do NOT alt+tab mid game, it'll crash and you'll have to load your last save after that, wherever you might've saved your game last.
And definitely befriend Fawkes in vault 87, he'll be very useful later.

Other than that, just get this game if you're thinking about getting into the fallout series, don't skip it and don't go straight to NV or 4 like many do, this game is so worth it.

New Vegas has better gameplay than Fallout 3, but the world of Fallout 3 is more interesting to explore

(I used TTW to play this so all my hours of playtime are tracked on Fallout: New vegas)

I really enjoyed this, finished the story and most of the DLC. It's a very good game I was able to spend hours just exploring the vast world and story.
If you really want to play this without bugs I would suggest using TTW like I did so you can play both Fallout New Vegas and Fallout 3 in the same game. This is what I did and I had a pretty good experience.

Couldn't even play broken steel, it just let me lay on the ground, and just wait ages for nothing to happen, ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, $20 gone to waste, and so are the 4 hours of my life for playing this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ game

You should not be allowed to sell a game on steam if you cannot hit play and start it. It does not work. I would refund it if I hadn't bought it months ago. Going to just buy it on xbox since it actually works there.

Not Bad Game Actually, but better buy Fallout The Game Of The Year Edition with
Fallout New Vegas Ultimate Edition - These two are the best duo to start getting to know
the franchise
