Half life launcher is not responding

Hello guys
Help with this problem
When the game starts, after the Cry of Fear logo appears, the game is not responding. There was no such problem before, but it stopped working normally out of nothing. Checking the files and reinstalling did not help

Ok, guys, I fixed the game by running the game through windows xp compatibility (service pack 3), running with administrator mode, fullscreen mode (without it, the game crashes on the desktop)
I hope this information will help someone else.

Now it's just blank and won't say it is not responding and I have to use task manager and keyboard to select it and close the process

The next day after I wrote this, it stopped working for me again.
Now I have no idea what to do with it.
