I'll start with saying I have the direct download version from kagura not steam, so no patch needed. I've done everything the guides have said but no matter what I do I can't peek at the mayor though the window. Any help is appreciated

All that's there are the sneakers, ninja footwear, air ride, and melon soda; the fortune teller is telling me to buy a pot at the store, and since the one I bought needs polishing, go see the guy, but I don't have it. Ideas?
