is this game dead?

Just finished a run with "HIGHEST DPS 2,165,894,337,210". Today's scoreboard is highest DPS, but that run is reported as "1,230,820,026", about 2000-times less.

I was curious as to how high i could push the combo meter. Turns out that nearly 700k was the answer. Surely i didnt press TAB even once. I think it went ok and is doable. Surely one could take even less abilities (no seismic & black holes) as long as one can comfortably survive ...
