As you know, we are working hard to keep the game balanced. We are also listening to our community, adding new features, and solving major and minor bugs along the way. We have limited resources as an indie game company, so we plan very carefully. Today, we wanted to share a section of our high-level planning for Feather Party. 🐤

Over the next year, we aim to have a total of 30 mini-games in our game. To reach this goal, we will add many new features and content. We are not sharing which mini-games these will be just yet, but we are working on many interesting game modes. 🐣

Additionally, we are also working on adding a Board Game mode to the game very soon. This new mode will offer our players a different experience and increase the game's variety. 🎲

Hello Feather Party players!

In this update, we focused on addressing the issues you've reported and improving the overall game experience based on your feedback. Here are the details:

Ball physics was one of the top complaints we received, so we completely revamped the ball physics system! You can perform lofted and precise shots with the attack button, and make more powerful shots with the Dash button. Normal touches now provide a more minimal and controllable dribbling experience.

Now, rainy and sunny weather conditions will appear randomly in our games! You might even encounter thunderstorms occasionally. Currently available in Mini-Football, Cannon Island, and Spotlight maps. These dynamic weather changes will add new excitement to your gameplay!

• Spotlight: We updated the game map with changes and visual enhancements to make gameplay easier.
  
• Balloon Rush: We updated the game map to make gameplay easier.
  
• Mini-Golf: We made updates to make gameplay easier on the maps. We added the Reset/Respawn function. You can now teleport to the Checkpoint area by pressing a button.
  
• Feather Catch: The issue of losing feathers if you use Dash has been removed.
  
• Lobby Management / Player Kick: We updated the Player Kick panel.
  
• Lobby Settings: We added the "NEW" label above the newly added games listed in the lobby settings.
  
• Game Logo: We added the early access text above the game logo.
  
• Feedback Button: We updated the areas where the feedback button should and should not be visible.

• Track Race: The bug that allowed Nitro to be used while going in reverse has been fixed.
  
• Falling Blocks: The issue of gliding outside the map and getting stuck in walls or climbing to an upper block has been fixed.

Hello Feather Party players!

In this update, we have brought you long-awaited new features and improvements. Here are the details:

One of the biggest complaints from our players was that if the host left the game, the game would be interrupted. For example, if the host saw their score was too low, they might hit Alt+F4 and disappear, causing the other players in the lobby to disconnect and their game to close. This will no longer be the case! With the new Host Migration system, if the host leaves the game, the game will not end and the host role will automatically transfer to another player. Your gaming experience will never be interrupted again! 🎉

With this new feature, if the game is closed while results are being calculated, it will continue to show the results. If the current mini-game is not finished, it will replay it, and if it is finished, it will move to the next one. This will make your games more seamless and fun!
A crab will be assigned to the missing team in Tile Takeover and Mini-Football games. It will paint tiles in Tile Takeover and act as a goalie in Mini-Football. Your crab buddy is always there to boost team spirit!
Our brand-new Track Race mini-game is now available! We have redesigned the car physics and added a system where you can earn nitro by drifting. With random obstacles (cones) appearing on the map, races have become more exciting. Different track variations will be added in the next stage, so stay tuned!

• The mandatory start system on the Lobby Island has been gradually updated. Now, even a single player can start the game if they enter the start area and are willing to wait long enough.
  
• The system in the Rollerball (sphere) mode has been changed and improved.

We are continuing to work diligently on our Board Game mode. We're exploring various game mechanics to create a mode that perfectly suits the characters of our little chicks.


Player Kicking:
One of the most requested features was the player-kicking system. Yes, you can now kick players who enter your room without permission or who do not follow the rules you set for your lobby. The lobby owner can now kick other chicks from the room before starting the game, while on the lobby island. Access this new panel, which allows you to kick unwanted chicks, via the "Manage" button in the pause menu.
New Scoring System:
Players who prefer to play Feather Party with 3 or 4 players instead of the maximum number requested a change to the current scoring system. We've added a new scoring system for them. With this system, you can now toggle Ranking Rewards on and off. If the lobby owner turns off the ranking rewards, no points are awarded to the 2nd and 3rd players at the end of the game, making the competition fairer in smaller groups.

Falling Blocks Bug Fix:Mischievous chicks found a bug in the Falling Blocks game where they could jump onto the water and then fly sideways to a surface inside, causing them to hang in the air. This exploit, which many players reported and we noticed, leading to unfair scoring, has now been fixed.

Lobby Owner Leaving the Game:
We received numerous complaints about situations where the lobby owner left the game before it ended. We understand how frustrating this can be. We are working on a feature that transfers lobby ownership to another player in the lobby and allows the game to continue from where it left off. However, this will take some time to complete. For now, we have made a small improvement: when the lobby owner leaves, the end-game screen will now appear, showing the score distribution and details of the games played up to that point to all players before the game closes.

Quick Play Mode is Back:
We have reopened our Quick Play mode, which we had to close for a while due to a bug.

Game Durations Shortened:
Many of our players reported that the durations of our mini-games were too long. We reviewed the durations and scoring of all our games in detail. We have reduced the durations of many mini-games as follows. Additionally, in Ice Hockey, we no longer have a goal limit. The match continues until the end of the game time.

• Balloon Rush: Game duration reduced from 150 seconds to 120 seconds.
  
• Count Master: Game duration reduced from 150 seconds to 120 seconds.
  
• Feather Catch: Game duration reduced from 120 seconds to 90 seconds.
  
• Ice Hockey: Game duration reduced from 240 seconds to 150 seconds. The end condition changed from a 3-goal limit to the maximum goals scored within the time limit.
  
• Mini Football: Game duration reduced from 240 seconds to 150 seconds.
  
• Mini Golf: Game duration reduced from 240 seconds to 210 seconds.
  
• Spotlight: Game duration reduced from 120 seconds to 90 seconds.
  
• Tile Takeover: Game duration reduced from 120 seconds to 105 seconds.

Hello everyone,

With this update, we added a quick chat menu to the game. You can access this menu by pressing the R key and selecting the message you want to say to your teammates. We now have a quick, albeit very simple, chat tool via this interface with people we do not meet in a Discord channel.

We continue to work tirelessly on our board game mode. We are working on many different game mechanics to publish a board game mode that fits the characters of our little chicks.

With the release of Feather Party, we continue to develop many new feature requests you asked for and fix many bugs you reported. Let's now look at the details of these titles with this update:

• Yes, we know that our little chicks love the lobby island and want to spend a long time there. Sometimes we witness that players get too caught up in the mini-games on the lobby island :) For this reason, when one of the players enters the Ready Area to start the game, we added a notification so that all other players on the Lobby island see this. However, it is of course still up to them if they want to join them in the Ready Area ;)
  
  
• A lot of fights could break out when we tried to fit our little chicks into a narrow space. Although this can be very enjoyable at times :D we have seen that it can cause some discomfort to the players before the full game starts. For this reason, we prevented players from pushing each other in the Ready Area.
  
  
• We detected and fixed a bug that prevented lobbies from being listed. The lobby listing system has been changed and the lobby search feature has been improved.
  
  
• Many of our players have reported that there is a vulnerability that allows outside access to rooms that are in the type of Invite only. We have implemented an interim solution that solves this quickly. Now, when you open an invitation-only room, others can not enter your room. We continue to work to solve this problem more permanently.
  
  
• We added 2 new Mini Golf maps. Now we have a total of 8 different mini-golf maps in the game.
  
  
• Fixed version mismatch error caused by version control.
  
  
• The vulnerability that could change the size and color of Steam usernames appearing in the game with text commands written to Steam usernames has been fixed.
  
  
• Fixed the bug where the Scoreboard remained open on the screen and could not be closed.
  
  
• Fixed the timer not continuing at the end of the mini-game.

As we are very close to releasing Feather Party in early access, we continue to add new features to the game. Let's summarize them briefly:

• For players who don't want to quickly move on to the next game between mini-games, we've added a Ready mode. When you set up the game by turning this mode on, you can't move on to the next game until half of the people in the lobby say ready. In this way, you can take as much break as you want between games.
  
• A new level system has been added to the game. At the end of each game we play, we earn an experience point according to our stats in the game.
  
• We want to be able to include players who fall too far behind in the game in the points when they earn points again. For this reason, we have added a mechanic that can give a point bonus to those who are lower in the ranking in the game for a comeback.
  
• Many new faces have been added to the game, from extremely cute to very angry, from a little crazy to tearful faces.
  
• The visual theme of the Mini Golf game has been completely revamped.
  
• Rollerball has improved controls and added collision effects.
  
• Improved visuals in Mine Sweeper.

Many improvements have also been made with this update. Let's list them now:

• Design changes have been made to the Speedrun section and dock area on Lobby Island.
  
• The end of the map ranking system has been revamped.
