Want to play Farming Simulator 25? Sure you do. But if you don't want to wait until November 12th, you have to get yourself to gamescom this year! From August 21st to 25th, you can play a special preview version of the game in Cologne, Germany, at the world's biggest gaming fair.

Put Your Hands on FS25!

While we (obviously) don't bring the complete and final game, you can already get a glimpse of what to expect. Take a look at Riverbend Springs and a careful selection of machines. We have plenty gaming stations prepared.

Put a Hat on in Hall 6!

If you want to find us, just walk up to a giant, unmistakable tractor in hall six. We're at the booth with the CLAAS XERION 12.650 TT and its 650 units of horsepower standing beside it. If you’re quick, you can score one of the popular straw hats that hover through the crowd every year.

Entertaining Stage Program

Just another reskin of the old engine, or... ?

Is this still the same old carpet field game with a LOD range that would make a Nintendo 64 laugh, or did they finally decide to drop their 2 decade old engine for a new one? I skipped the last version, and if this one still doesn't have dynamic soil, ill be skipping this one as well....

This "new" title is not new.

Another copy pasta of previous version where they reskin a crop, add some different timers and call it good. They either need to overhaul the engine to allow for more robust improvements or change engine. If all they can achieve in each new edition is some incredibly minor improvements and a mild reskin addition its getting sad. Same terrible LODs, same low/mid texture quality, same baked old lighting tech, same animal ai that basically doesnt exist. At this point just switch engine , and focus on imp...

So, Fs22 costed 20euros, and it was released full of bugs and fs25 will cost more than double, and it's sure it will have a lot of bugs too why must i pay that crazy prize? and they don't even happy, release the 1 year.. jajjajaja 80 euros or i don't know, is this a joke? i'll stay playing my FS22, thank you ---------- 50 euros??!! estais locos??!!! Preview - New Crop: Spinach

Full of nutrients, presumably of ancient Persian origin, the subject of a culinary myth for its (actually not-so-high) iron content, and Popeye's favorite: Spinach!

It's also coming to Farming Simulator 25. Let's take a look at the leafy green crop, as it does offer some unique things to keep in mind on your virtual fields.

Time for Spinach

Spring and Summer are spinach seasons. In March or April, you take your seeder and put out about 10 liters of seed per hectare to look forward to a yield of about 23100 liters in return.

With an average selling price of $660 per thousand liters, you need to be ready to harvest in June. Mind, that you need a specialized harvester here - the OXBO MKB-4TR.

Sow Once, Harvest Twice

If you're not wasting any time, you can actually harvest spinach twice a season. To do that, you got to sow it right in March, wait for it to mature, harvest it right away in June and watch it grow again. Don't forget to apply your usual yield improvement, like you do with other crops.

Doing everything right and in time, you'll see the those growth stages that slightly differ in the second cycle. As it is common among crops like spinach, the first growth stage after harvesting it the first time, appears a bit more bushy. Helps to easier keep track of all your spinach fields visually.

And remember the words of one of our favorite sailors: You’re strong to the finich 'cause you eats your spinach. Well, harvest it at least and sell it before it withers, will you?

NO VR? I'm still buying it.

I've had a Rift S and a Quest 2 and could live without VR just fine because it's a gimmick. Imagine spending 4 hours plowing a field with a sweaty a** headset stuck to your face... Pass. NO VR? Still buying it! P.S - Literally nobody cares what you do. Please stop announcing your every thought and decision to the world. Nobody cares, just like you don't care about this.

Preview: Riverbend Springs

Are you ready to build a new farm in Riverbend Springs? After we first presented this new map for Farming Simulator 25 at this year's FarmCon, here's another preview with brand-new impressions!

Remember, Farming Simulator 25 releases November 12th. Pre-order to get the MacDon Pack! Or go for the fancy Collector's Edition, including a USB Ignition Lock to start your in-game tractors. You know you want it. It goes great with the beacon light (available separately). Just saying.

Celebrating Water

You don't have to ask where the name comes from when you look at the map of Riverbend Springs. A huge, winding river, lots of water, and many little creeks and streams in between. A ferry, too. If you're wondering, how to get across the river - crossing it with a ferry fit for your machine is an option!

"It's all about water and we wanted to celebrate that", commented Senior Level Designer Florian Busse at FarmCon. That's why you'll find piers, jetties, houseboats, restaurants floating on the river, and many more elements in Riverbend Springs to go along with the theme of the map. Perfect fit for adding rice and water physics, right?

History of Lands & Farms

In Riverbend Springs, you'll come across some historic buildings and other elements of times gone by. The old grain elevator, a paper mill at the river or brick buildings how they were built a hundred years ago, for example.

Places to Visit

There are many nice spots in Riverbend Springs you might want to visit. Who knows what (or who) you'll get to see when exploring.

There are construction sites, businesses buying your goods, and more. If you're one to enjoy forests and nature, you might want to walk through the woods.
