Tesla Roadster condition in space
Seeing Tesla Roadster in Live View of the Solar System has made me wonder: is the car's condition affected by the space environment? If someone managed to successfully retrieve the car from space, would it be driveable (either right away after refuelling and tending to tire pressure, or after relatively minor repairs)? How many parts would still work and are there parts that would be damaged or destroyed by the environment?

I must admit the reflections on it look beautiful. I wonder if the graphics update aims to address reflections as well.

Here's the article I found if it's of any interest

"Right away after refueling"

Teslas are electric. I'm pretty sure that the Roadster batteries wouldn't be okay for this long without recharging on Earth, yet alone in space. Electric cars have to charged at least occasionally. I think those batteries had liquid electrolytes, which would be much worse off in a vacuum. That's if they even sent the battery up with the car.

My guess is that it would be highly irradiated and pretty dusty by now.
