This demo is very difficult. I hope it will be explained as a precision platformer on the Steam Store page because this Demo shows how hard the platforming sections will be. Apart from that, I like the ideas here and the art. All very good. I can't beat this Demo in one sitting so with no saves, I won't be able to finish it. If I decide I want a hard platform game, I may pick it up later....

The timings are incredibly tight and all jumps have to be extremly precise, otherwise you'll be completely reset to the beginning with this frustrating animation where you're a little ball of paint - those few seconds where you see how far you've been reset are really infuriating. Alright I played the demo, and I liked it enough to follow its development, but the platforming combined with the death mechanic rubbed me the wrong way. Give us a way to recover our health bar without needing to go to a save point, because deciding between going into a boss with only 60% max hp, or wasting time doing platforming does not come across as endearing. Just tried after one of you guys tweeting about the game. I'd like to give the feedback that probably most people already gave: 1) Attacking on all directions would be big. Not just because its good, but its hard to remember things are limited when almost every other game had upwards and downards attack 2) Wall jump. I noticed that the level design is built around not having wall jumps, but its really hard to learn it, when all the movement fluidity seems it would be an option. You see ,if I was playing...
