Please add the option to remove the compass from the inventory
Yeah, I know, “you control the buttons you press”, but I’d like to have the option to not see the compass icon in my game. Thanks.

There is a compass?
*Ignores the compass, refuses to elaborate, leaves the thread while Phonky Town plays in the background.*

you said it yourself, you control the buttons you press

If you are emotionally unable to handle even the mere sight of a few pixels indicating an optional feature you are in no way required to activate, that sounds like a you problem. Video games in general might not be for you if you are unable to overcome such an emotional burden, as such things are very commonplace within this form of media.

While I agreed that there's no problem in having it in the menu (is barely noticeable), I'd like to say:

"Video games in general might noy be for you"?? Pfft, come on. Get back to the whole you came from and take your "judgement" with you lol...

No judgement, just an observation. A vast majority of video games have on screen toggles indicating optional features that are not mandatory. If the mere sight of such a thing bothers someone to the point that they are unable to enjoy themselves even if they simply just don't interact with the feature, they might be turning to the wrong form of media for entertainment.

But that's assuming both Deejo and Revolver Rez are unable to enjoy the game because of the compass, when they simply said an option to dissable it would be nice. That's why you're making it sound ten thousand times more severe.

I agreed there's not much need for said option to exist though, but they are literally free to keep enjoying video games.

When did I even once say that anyone under any circumstance isn't allowed to enjoy video games? I merely proposed the suggestion that if a mere option is such a big issue to someone that they are unable to enjoy themselves, they might be seeking said enjoyment in the wrong form of media. I didn't tell anyone they could or couldn't do anything. Honestly if anyone needs to take a chill pill here, it's you. You're getting all worked up over things I never said.

That is a good song though.

It would be nice if all gameplay changes could be controlled in the options menu, regardless of whether they make the game easier or harder, so you can customize how much of a classic experience you want.

I just knew that the same people arguing “it’s an optional feature, why be upset” would be upset by the suggestion of including an optional feature.

Smarmy, debased hypocrites.

I don't see what's wrong with asking to make the feature optional. Many of the older players who are used to the games won't be using it, so why not just make it an accessibility feature you can toggle?
That's the thing, it's already optional. You don't even see the feature at all unless you open the scroll wheel to check your inventory, and then all you have to do to not use it is... Well, not use it. Just like any other inventory item that you don't want to use.
