• Resolved an issue where the select button wouldn't appear with particular controller configs in the casting menu
  
• Updated some incorrect character icons in UI pop-ups
  
• Fixed an issue where Milo becoming friends by the Grill, would fail to clear his task objective
  
• Fixed an issue where Jae would be sent straight to bed after receiving a walkie-talkie call from the [REDACTED BY THE NETWORK] under specific circumstances
  
• The casts magical ability to cook in the garden in a floating pot has sadly been taken back by Chorby.
  
• Fixed an issue where the cast would go to the gym together, but one of them would then go to the garden instead.
  
• Fixed an issue where Jae wouldn't update her PDA with how many cast tasks she'd completed for the [REDACTED BY THE NETWORK]
  
• Jae has figured out how to escape the Cardboard Box Prison on the production floor and will no longer get stuck
  
• Fixed Charlie's swimsuit from neon green back to her preferred colour

• Fixed a small problem with the Foodies audience
  
• Increased the amount of time relationship changes persist. so they can be filmed
  
• Consolidated the ads formatting to prevent some ad related errors

If viewers tune out and ratings fall, it won't just be the end of your career. THE CRUSH HOUSE will be cancelled and taken off the air -- permanently.

Hi Crushers! We’ve been keeping an eye on the feedback, and here are some frequently asked questions:
- Localization: Localization will be available upon full launch in 8 additional languages, including French, Spanish, Chinese and more!
- Steam Deck: We're hoping to get the game verified on Steam Deck for launch. We know about issues playing the Demo on Deck and we are working on them for the full release!
- RAM accumulation + crashes: we know about these issues (it seems that the game likes to crash on Wednesdays) and are polishing fixes right now.

Hello Crushers! Thanks for playing The Crush House demo. We’re keeping a close eye on your feedback and suggestions and are doing our best implementing what we can.

+ Game overs due to death or cancellation now go to the game over screen instead of the demo end screen, allowing the player to retry the failed day or return to the title screen.
+ Added a Vsync toggle to the settings menu, which defaults to “On” to reduce screen tearing.
+ Fixed some settings changes not persisting between sessions.

Hey Crushers!

We know we’ve made a game that’s quite wacky, a bit experimental, and certainly risqué. For the next two months, we’ll be hard at work fixing up bugs, balancing, polishing, and adding (crush) juice. But we wanted to get the game in your hands as soon as we could, so we’re thrilled to put out this demo!

Note that as the game is not finished, we are actively fixing various issues that you may encounter while you play. So please let us know what you think! Everything you tell us will be helpful as we get the game ready for the launch on August 9th!

The Crush House is a Thirst-Person Shooter where you play as producer Jae, filming 1999’s hottest reality TV show. Equipped with a camcorder, it’s your job to film their drama, and quench the drama-thirsty audiences.

While there will be 12 potential cast members in the full game, the demo features Charlie, Emile, Alex and Priscilla. Film their love stories, their conflicts, their lives. Just remember: never, ever, ever, speak to them. EVER.

Attracting viewers is the easy part - then you need to keep them entertained. Each audience group has distinct thirsts, Whether it's the Wine Moms, Fish Freaks, Film Students or Butt Guys, they each have an unwavering interest in a certain subject. If you don’t quench them, your show will be CANCELLED.

There’s nothing wrong with selling out for some extra cash. Earn money by playing ads whenever you’re not filming, then spend it on props to upgrade the house. The radical new gear will unlock new dialogue options, help quench thirsts and might even contribute to certain secret objectives. This message is brought to you by Dogmilk™.
