We’re excited to announce that Update 1.0.4 is now live. This update introduces a new Hard Mode for those seeking a greater challenge, along with significant improvements to text, UI, and more. Here are all the details:

What’s New in Update 1.0.4

New Hard Mode

You can now face tougher enemies with fewer aids in the new Hard Mode, designed to push your skills to the limit.

Text and Localization Improvements

We’ve revised and improved text in all available languages to ensure greater clarity and consistency.
Localization enhancements have been made to provide a more immersive experience across all languages.

Glitch reports

Super cool game, found a couple of glitches.. where do I report? 1. Area 8, fell down a hole (along upper right side of map) where you place a bomb and can't get out. 2. Area 9, Suichi can move through a floor (where he splits from Violet) while placing bombs next to the yellow destructible bricks. When bombs explode, Suichi becomes invisible and will appear in floor or in the corridor below with Violet. This can cause a situation where progress cannot be made. If player returns to teleport to earlier are...

Hello!

It's incredible, almost hard to believe, but finally: SUGAMENIA is now available!

It's been three years of development during which I have poured all my love into this project. Always with the goal of launching the game that I would like to play. I sincerely hope to connect the SUGAMENIA experience with players who are looking for a retro adventure, a challenging platformer, puzzles to make you think, and a few surprises.

As a solo developer, I would be infinitely grateful if you could share SUGAMENIA with any friend you think would enjoy an experience like this.

For all those who decide to give SUGAMENIA a chance, here is a brief summary of what you will find:

A complete map divided into 10 unique areas
4 boss fights that will require all your concentration
Puzzles that will make you scratch your head with unique and fun mechanics
A original gameplay in the form of a travel companion (Suichi), a drone that acts as a mobile platform, bomb launcher, and more
Between 3 and 4 hours of gameplay to complete your first run
Retro pixel graphics reminiscent of the NES
Original chiptune music
