When I first heard about Dark Souls 2, I knew it would be challenging, but I never expected the word "fun" to be part of the equation. With my chaotic-good nature, I entered Drangleic curious yet cautious, armed with my trusty DEX/Adaptability build. The game hit me hard, and often, but I couldn’t help but smile every time. It was like the game was saying, "try again!" Even with the tough moments, I never felt frustrated—just patient. Over time, I learned that nothing here is impossible. It's all about the experience and perseverance.

The level design is a labyrinth of surprises, but exploring felt incredibly rewarding. Each corner held secrets or danger, and my DEX build became my best ally as I dodged and struck at just the right moments. I went into the game completely blind, not watching any guides or videos. This multiplied the experience, making every discovery feel like it was my own. Every mistake taught me something new, and each victory felt earned in the best possible way.

The story is like a massive puzzle, and while it doesn’t give you all the answers right away, that’s part of its charm. It's like the players themselves are part of the lore. And, being curious , I couldn’t resist diving deeper into this mysterious world,
so here I am, enjoying every step of the journey, even as the game keeps sending me into the abyss.

Dark Souls 2 is hard, but also deeply rewarding. It’s not about frustration—just about pacing yourself and learning from the experience. And once you push through, you realize that nothing here is impossible. Oh, and don’t even get me started on the bosses—another story full of laughs, shouts, and, of course, plenty of deaths.

Yeah no, I don't like being punished every time I die by my base health decreasing every time it happens until it's half of what it originally was. Losing souls is one thing, but that, I get that this is supposed to be hard but I want to get better at the game at my own pace, not be forced to improve faster by dying even more because I have even less health than before.

peak dark souls game. the only from software games that are better imo are elden ring and sekiro. gonna 100% the enhanced edition of it, would do it for this game if the enhanced didnt exist. highly recommend
