It is possible to play on the steam deck it's just an incredible hassle and you have to continuously copy the files over every Wednesday when there are updates. It's not worth the extreme effort. But it runs beautifully on the deck when you do. So really it's just a matter of net marble caring about the people who are waiting to play it still. I know I have a lot of friends on deck who were planning to play it and then it never happened so they just moved on. Kind of sad
