If not, native Android and iOS webcam solutions should be preferred.
As a last resort, if you need one of the free webcam apps out there, I'd recommend Camo Studio[camo.studio] mainly because it seems well-supported. We have not noted a relevant difference from the other webcam apps in terms of tracking performance.
The iOS device with TrueDepth will give you the best experience (CPU load and calibration robustness). We haven't enabled the high FPS option for the iOS extension yet.
The Logitech Brio 4K is a great option and allows 60+fps. If you have that camera available, I'd use that as the default, as placing the phone every time can become a bit tedious over time.
The Sony DSLR should work. However, if it's not recognized in Beam as a camera input, then please download the free Manycam app (manycam.com) as an intermediary solution.
