Minor Bug Fixes Release v2.2.1
- Fixed a bug that occasionally caused Gaming Extensions to crash when Windows switched from desktop mode to fullscreen game mode.
- The tray icon now reacts to clicks for the Steam Demo, bringing the welcome screen to the front.
- Enhanced logging for webcam discovery to assist in debugging user setups.
- Updated the version number format in the About section (e.g., 2.2.1 instead of 2.01.0001).
***
At startup selected the launch option "Steam VR mode" for Autmobilista 2.
I can setup my camera, use privacy filter or eye tracking, but as soon as I turn the game extension on to use OpenTrack, the app crashes and won't start again unless I start it with my camera unplugged. I tried using another webcam but it didn't solve anything since this seems to be tied to the game extension specifically.
As the issue been solved ?
Edit : Found the solution
When I install windows I usually change the temp file path variable to put them on a HDD rather than my SSD. I wrote the variable in my native language and used a "è" in it.
Beam was trying to write temp files but couldn't process this caracter. I replaced i with a common "e" and everything's fine now.
