Its a thing.
Iv literally done it in college myself.
Goggle it. Game is not fake. You can see the artifact from the technique.
Anyone who has VR already seen this in some showcases on steam.
This game just has the added advantage iof better lighting engine and filters that make it look like a recording hiding the im perfections.

the game uses unreal engine 5. so get used to (almost) photorealistic graphics from now on. photogrammetry is used for years already and nothing new at all. js
