To everyone experiencing sync issues: It's a simple fix! Just switch your region. If you're playing in the USA, make sure to switch the server to the US, and I guarantee you'll have no more sync problems.

Lost Castle 2 is an amazing game, and the devs are actively working on it. I don't play as much as I used to since I've unlocked everything, but I can't wait for the new content!

Improvement on the original, waiting for local multiplayer and adding PS controller icons would be a nice addition.

[WIP] Game, [WIP] Review.

The game as a whole is a huge step up from Lost Castle 1 for me and my Castle mates. Combat is much more fluid and makes sense unlike the first game where abilities and controls were often annoying to use/figure out.

Gone are the days of having to spam appearance stuff before the Host randomly started the lobby. You make a character that stays and can edit it whenever you want via the new lobby called a Camp.

Gone are the souls you would collect and have to spent before you start your next run, lest you lose them. Now, you spend gold and can upgrade a number of things.

Sadly, gone is the option to have horrible unfair theft of gear and items. Lost Castle 1 allowed players to take whatever dropped out of the chest. No instanced loot. No optional sharing. It was first come, first serve. I somewhat miss that option. While it only brings toxicity and stupid fights, it WAS something my group of idiot friends enjoyed. We round-robin the chests and directions of which path to take. It kept things interesting while we were losing against bosses. We also tried to steal loot from each other, whenever someone wasn't paying attention. YOUR APPLES ARE MINE!

Gone is the clunky, outdated menu system you would have to scroll just to consume items. Now, its more about your elixir and drinking weird potions. Throwable consumables are now gear items which have a cooldown instead of being consumed and dropped from chest like in Lost Castle 1. Thanks for that devs. Love it!

Now, I hope to see them improve how the servers connect and are selected.
If I live in "North America" I expect to not be automatically defaulted to a China Server Connection.
Speaking of Connections, why is it that Lobbies glitch out if someone disconnects or their game freezes?
It makes it so you're unable to rejoin them and continue where you left off. Just sort of dumps you into a Solo-play.
I want to be able to re-join. I don't want to play solo if I was trying to play with friends.

Your loading Map screen needs something like a loading bar. It can freeze and have people waiting around for nothing. We don't know if it's a connection issue or something else. No feedback on whats happening or why.

Also, can we skip the Scene of the Castle Door opening if we have seen it before? It's a bit annoying to have to wait for that scene to playout every time.

I cannot wait to see more weapons, items, npcs and system fleshed out for me to unlock and enjoy. Keep it coming.
