Honestly this game captures the feeling of liminality and dream-like nostalgia better than any other game in the genre. It's horror element doesn't rely much on entities, chasing scenes or other cliche elements. Rather, it forces you to battle your own insanity and paranoia as you wonder the twisted, impossible mazes that seem to have no end at all. It does throw a few minor jumpscares every now and then, but they are only a few, just enough to show you that the game WILL get scary if it truly wants to and to and put you on edge. Overall, I highly recommend this game, especially if you're into the liminal space/weirdcore/dreamcore aesthetic and want to experience true dream-like worlds, as it will have more levels.

If you are patient enough to arrive to "Eternal Suburbia" map, after the "Dreampool" maze experience, you will find a new Level 94's flavour. On this second map you will find more disorientation, with no big clues on how to arrive, unless you notice the little details. Loved the easter eggs left there. No spoilers but...you will find there the keys of the house.

After succeeded on that part, you will enter into a new dimension of Eternal Suburbia really closed to infinite backrooms area, where you feel an intense sensation about being trapped on the neighbourhood. If you are persistence and lucky, you will probably find "The Guest House", a kind of hidden level.

PS.- I spent more than 4 hours on several demo versions (1st, 2nd and the latest one). Plus on that, I spent almost 5 hours total on the game, on several gameplays between both maps. Ready for "Playrooms". I can't wait for the new levels.

The demo for this game was possibly the best liminal game I've ever played. A large, hand-crafted map, sprinkled generously with a variety of different points of interest, cryptic symbols on the walls, immersive ambience and music playing just at the right moments, tiny jumpscares or just moments meant to creep you out, it had everything. It really did. I played that demo for hours and still didnt have enough.

The full game fails to deliver any of that as of today (March 2025). The pools basement is rather empty, and the points of interest are few and far between. But that pales in comparison to the new map - the Eternal Suburbia. All three stages of it are simple, repetitive and boring after just a few minutes. Even a cross-eyed lumberjack could count the amount of points of interest and creepy things on only one of his hands. There really is nothing on these maps, and running through the last stage in search for the elevator was simply torture. This is not what I played in the demo.

I still hold a little hope that the upcoming map might be a banger, but only time will tell. Right now I highly recommend playing the demo, and the demo only. It's the only thing worth any money in this game, and quite paradoxically - it's free.
