this is fun, but even WITH a guide this ♥♥♥♥ is practically unfinishable. Exactly like I remember all of these terrible games.

IHNMAIMS - is a point and click adventure game which plays out in the world of the book by the same name.
It's retro, and thus comparable to Sierra games from back in the day.

Pros

• Great horror universe
  
• A lot of possibilities in every scenario
  
• Quick saving is great

Cons

• Tons of fail states
  
• Tons of "dead man walking" scenarios
  
• You have to replay the entire scenario if you saved over a mistake

Whilst I adored the style and voice acting in this game, it definitely has a lot of issues.
The controls felt quite sluggish and aged poorly, the amount of fail states becomes infuriating to a degree, and the game has no actual forms of guidance anywhere. There was a lot of "moon logic" as well, which served to dull the experience a lot as you would need to use items on seemingly random objects and npcs. And whilst it's nice to have multiple endings, you essentially get a pat on the back for doing tons of work to get the best one.

Aged poorly.

It's dirt cheap, so you could. But I personally wouldn't recommend it.
