The only reason why EA put Steam achievements on many ~2015 games is because they implemented checks for their launcher based on the condition of the Origin achievements of the selected game.
If a origin achievement is unlocked, the same one will be unlocked for Steam as well automatically.
It was also retroactive too.
They didn't need to patch the games at all.
In this case, saboteur never had Origin achievements so in this case, EA would need to do program in triggers in the game code of Saboteur. They could do it if they wanted to, but i doubt they will.
Ubisoft could do the same if they really wanted to with their launcher, they just don't care
Begging? So paying for something and requesting basic features that should be standard is begging? Seems as if you enjoy just paying for things blindly because you trust the company
Basic feature is you getting a fun game to play.
Achievements weren't a thing on PC back then unless it used Steamworks or GFWL.
Pandemic Studios, that was closed 2 weeks after this game release, won't be returning and searching for source code to specifically add some Steam icons for you.
Have some understanding how adding achievements to games work.

Achievements already exist for the console counterpart, therefore no-one needs the source code in order to implement them into Steam. Just need a dev to implement them via Steamworks...takes 10-15 mins, once you have an understanding of adding achievements to games when the triggers already exist!
+1 - Add them to Steam, and it's a instant purchase for me!
You can check SteamDB
Again, completely ignoring the facts that the other versions of the SAME game have had them included already. Lol @ how you think it’s just me asking for the basic feature. Seems like a EA diehard fan forsure
