Physx Error

I need help with this so here's my little story.

I just downloaded Mass Effect 2, tried launching it and it says;
'Failed to initialize the physics system. Please ensure you have an updated version of the PhysX System Software installed.'

So I googled this and some threads suggested that I use the PhysX download that came with the game in the Redist folder which I tried however it comes up with 'The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed. This can occur if the Windows Installer is not correctly installed. Contact your support personnel for assistance.'

I tried downloading another Phsyx which was recommended and says 'This app can't run on your PC'

It was also suggested to uninstall your current Phsyx before downloading another so I checked my Uninstalled a program under Control Panel but nothing came up relating to Phsyx.

I am using Windows 10 and Intel(R) HD Graphics 510.

How do I fix this?

Sorry to provide no solutions, but I'm in the same exact boat. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

i mean,Physx is only available with Nvidia graphics cards.
But I don't know if that works with Intel graphics

Proper Physx runtime comes with the game itself (PhysX_9.09.0814_SystemSoftware.exe in the redist folder) and it should be installed when the game is installed. You shouldn't have to install any other version, especially if you don't have an NVIDIA card.

I used to get this message with NVIDIA card if my PATH environment variable did not have C:\Program Files (x86)\NVIDIA Corporation\PhysX\Common folder at the beginning of it.
