Is this game still being worked on?
I know they did all the stuff they could with this game adding every game to the mix plus the showdown mode, but they haven't patched it in 4 years. I know they are just an indie team and they have a lot of things to work on like the dlc for dig and pocket dungeon, and patches for those games and also developing Mina the Hollower and Shovel Knight DX but I am starting to get scared they won't ever patch this game again.

Yeah it is, its just that there might still be a few small glitches or bugs to work out, like for example I am still getting some weird performance and I worry the game will remain in this state and eventually die out.

Thus is the way of all things. How many old books exist that haven't been seen by eyes in over a hundred years? Two hundred?

It's a good game, but it will fade.

Completed games rarely get updates for long periods of time unless there's a glaring bug that effects many players and gets enough vocal complaints as a result. With all four campaigns complete and the dev team seemingly not having much interest in the idea of exploring other Knight's stories as campaigns, it's unlikely that Treasure Trove or it's individually bought campaigns will ever get another major update.

Is it possible that the performance issues you're seeing with the game are an issue on your PC's end?
