The game simply doesn't open.
I've been trying to play for two days. I click on the Steam button, the game doesn't even open, and the button quickly turns back to green. I've searched Reddit, watched YouTube videos, and looked at some older discussions around here. I don't have any mods installed, I have Repentance, I've already deleted the folder in 'Documents/My Games', updated drivers, reinstalled the game, checked the integrity of the files, but nothing seems to work! Anyone else with the same problem? Anyone found a solution?

Try disabling Repentance through the Steam DLC menu.
I have a similar issue where if I open the game it just crashes with a runtime error. Once I disabled all mods, it at least let me view the intro, but it still crashes when the intro ends.
I have tried everything imaginable as well, and the only thing that has worked for me is disabling Repentance (which obviously is not a real solution, since I want to play repentance, but...)

If you have Repentance and had mods installed, unsubscribing from them in Steam Workshop might not be enough.
You need to delete contents of the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Binding of Isaac Rebirth\mods

If you try a mod of the workshop and you start a run you must finish the run that you start with the mods u play in it. When you install the mods u tryed the game works. Tell me if u had any issue :)

I did this, and it helped a little bit, but only barely
Before doing that, it would crash with a runtime error while trying to launch
After doing that, it crashes in the same way, but not until the intro cinematic is finished
