Game disconnects my xbox controller

As soon as the gameplay starts the game disconnects my wired xbxone gamepad and i cant reconnect.
Anyone else with the same problem?
I would very much like to play this title with a gamepad.

i had a simular prob with my switch controller and ghost of tsushima. nevr did find a fix so i just used a different controller. for some reason my cheaper 8bitdo works better for more games....

I switched to my 8-Bitdo as well and it works flawlessly.
