Ray Tracing?
Does ray tracing change anything? It looks basically the same when it's on max or off to me.. I have a rtx3080 and it handles it fine when it's on max settings which is cool but I cannot tell a difference. Anyone else having a similar experience? I love this game otherwise.

The preview seems to suggest water reflections as main benefactors of RT. I haven't gotten far enough to find a spot to verify it.

I am also surprised to be able to max everything out on RTX3090 without the fans turning into a jumbo jet at 2560×1440@100Hz

I went to the camp where the preview is showing, but it kind of just makes the water look less flat to me. I decided I'm okay with turning it off for more fps, but I guess I can see a small difference with it on vs off.
Yes, RE engine games usually have 1 or 2 RT effects max.
You can use RE Framework to pick which ones you want to use as by default RT setting only affects reflections.

Much like DD2, you can even force path tracing (without denoising sadly).

Oh gotcha, I didn't know that. I'll probably just leave it off at this point
