STANDARD ONLY
All you need to buy is the Standard Edition. It is never certain what you will get as a MSFS "standards" for whole years. Buy only Standard Edition now and you will upgrade it later, probably you will not but thank me.

It depends on whether the planes in the other versions appeal to you. They have confirmed that the planes from the editions above standard will be available individually for purchase, but you will need to judge whether you would save money buying them separately or part of the edition.

I have to go Premium Deluxe for the steam gauge 172 just as before. But I'm not buying anything till I see how people react to it here.

The deluxe version was an instant buy for me since it includes several planes I'm interested in.
