Same, about 30-40 mins for me too.
Nobody's found it yet, not even the devs. Hence why no update... it's literally almost unplayable.
Anyways, try the info on this guide.
NOTE: I know it says RAM recommended is lower than what you have, but low Ram can lead to crashing issues on some games.

Its something with the I7 I think. RPGamerMan says low ram, but that isnt the case. I also have 16 gigs, but an I5 @3.30 ghz. So its a good chance its the processor causing the problem.
My ram is also DDR3. I cant even find ram in the stores to upgrade it anymore, ive tried, and nobody carries my ram. Its very outdated.
for every time i remake a fight seems the game crushes about 20 second later then previously.

Are you trying to play this with integrated graphics? The minimum is a 760... Dedicated GPU.
It may be old games but they have been updated.
