Same here. Randomly crashes when trying to access the menu, or when cutscenes play. Given how rare save points are, I have to play entire sections over again. Just got to the first boss of Hallow Bastion, after climbing the entire tower without saves once you get past the Library, and it crashed. Sigh.

Same here, except only with KH2 (I've only played 1 so far).

Nobody's found it yet, not even the devs. Hence why no update... it's literally almost unplayable.

I have same system, but the only big thing i see a issue being is your RAM amount maybe causing it. It is very low for current generation games. Not sure if that is one of many factors causing your issues, but it could lead to it. Do you know how to try to increase paging files also? This could help you, but with that low amount of RAM, i am not sure if it will help in the end.

Anyways, try the info on this guide.

NOTE: I know it says RAM recommended is lower than what you have, but low Ram can lead to crashing issues on some games.

Its something with the I7 I think. RPGamerMan says low ram, but that isnt the case. I also have 16 gigs, but an I5 @3.30 ghz. So its a good chance its the processor causing the problem.

My ram is also DDR3. I cant even find ram in the stores to upgrade it anymore, ive tried, and nobody carries my ram. Its very outdated.

I was hoping someone had solved it somehow.
for every time i remake a fight seems the game crushes about 20 second later then previously.

for me its the exact opposite. played to kh 1 with out a single crash. now in kh 2 every time i got to the mantion at the beginning of the game it crashes every time.

i am going to test it myself and then report back. my theory is that windows 11 might be the culprit. i have windows 10 myself. i just need to install it first, before i can test it. i have started the installation but, i purchased it this morning, after i got a new visa. my other one stopped working last year. i have not experienced any crashes so far but, i am going to play it more.

update, i turned off the in game version of V-seanc and changed my resolution to 1080p. and its working again. hope this helps one of you.

Are you trying to play this with integrated graphics? The minimum is a 760... Dedicated GPU.
It may be old games but they have been updated.
