By any chance are you using a controller wirelessly? I never had this while I used my PS5 pad wired in, but have started getting it today now I'm using it via bluetooth.

Oh ok cool noted, so maybe using a wireless controller isn't a cause after all.

I started getting this after returning to the pride lands, reloading the game would return it to normal but opening the journal will glitch it out again. I suspect it's a RAM issue because i have a habit of not shutting my pc down, but restarting it fixed the issues, least as far as i can tell

Annoying to say the least

For me this happens specifically when the wisdom form.

edit: just did some testing and it specifically happens when I use any drive form after attaining wisdom form after beating the timeless river world.

edit 2: So it seems like it also happens whenever I open a secondary menu, so going to the shop or journal can cause it. It might not have anything to do with the drive forms

I had this glitch happen in Chain of Memories anytime I pressed down in the pause menu, I don't think there's a solution for it.

this same issue happens to me when I access the journal or save. Is there a fix besides using a mod to change the up-scaling? This makes the game very difficult to look at.

I've also been having this issue during the Reverse Rebirth section of CoM. Started about 1/3 of the way through, and has been paired with occasional crashing.
I didn't have this problem with the Sora section of CoM at all. Really weird.

I'm playing KH2.5 currently:
Experiencing the same bug. Mine happened when loading back to the save point before advancing to Cave of Wonders in Agrabah. All the previous saves have the same effect now in their menus, didn't have that before. Seems like it happens after Port Royal first visit. And it's irreversible?

Can confirm that the title screen (new game/load game) is broken after that, no matter what.
Loading previous saves, even creating a new save, it happens again.
I started a new game and after being able to open the menu and getting access to Journal, the same happened.
Opening the Journal and getting a cutscene has the same effect to the menu.
Closing the game or exiting to the main title (where you select the game) fixes it for a brief moment, but again, opening Journal/any submenu or getting a cutscene, the start menu glitches out.

It's annoying, but not game breaking as far as I can see. Would like it to be fixed though if anyone has any ideas.

Found a possible short-term fix for KH2.5FM atleast.
If you open the menu with keyboard, the menu is normal. But if you use controller at any point, it gets glitched again. Re-open the menu with keyboard to get it back to normal.

Hope this helps, although it's kinda stupid fix.

Check for updates to your graphics drivers. There was an update to NVIDIA drivers a few days ago. I updated them and now the issue seems to be resolved for me.
