Hi there!

I’m happy to announce that a new update of Mosaico is available! Good news for gamers: Mosaico makes it possible now to run your games in a borderless fullscreen window!

Here's a brief list of relevant changes:

New “Borderless Windows” feature. This means easier ALT+TABing out of gaming window and complete multi-monitor support.
New “Mouse Locking” feature. You can lock mouse pointer to your borderless windows. Handy when a game requires interaction near the screen edges.
WIN key is now a global shortcut modifier. You can also select from 0 to 4 modifiers (CTRL, ALT, SHIFT, WIN) to optimally configure your favorite shortcuts.
Improved compatibility. Mosaico now works fine with Acrobat Reader, VLC, Ninja Trader, JRiver and many others, thanks to a completely rewritten inter process communication schema.
Many bug fixes and improved speed. Fixed a crash when dragging windows across multiple screens in Windows 10. Fixed several other smaller issues.
Snapshot name is preserved when replacing it
New 1/16 of screen layout elements added
Fixed compatibility issues with 3rd party apps interfering with Mosaico and causing crashes
Mosaico GUI doesn’t disappear immediately when mouse exits it
It is now possible to disable any keyboard shortcuts
Mosaico now works with both Administrator and non-Administrator apps, if you launch it with Administrator privileges
Fixed some minor bugs and hangs in Windows 10

Automatic snapshot restoring and snapshot replacing

A new update for Mosaico is out!

A brief list of changes in this new version 1.8.2:

New feature to automatically restore a snapshot when Windows starts.
New feature to replace current snapshot with a new one. This saves you from manually deleting current snapshot.
Automatic updates. Mosaico will notify you when a new version is available and will optionally download it in background. (retail version only)
External GUI and Windows libraries updated.
Fixed a bug with windows resizing slightly smaller on Windows 10.
Fixed a bug with windows resizing on the wrong monitor when maximized.
Fixed a bug with layout shortcuts order not being saved.
Fixed a bug with systray message always being displayed.
Fixed a bug with Mosaico window disappearing while dragging icons to change snapshots positions.
Fixed several minor bugs

You can now use Steam license to register the retail version!

Hi there!

New in-house built licensing system is finally up and running!
This means that you can use the license code provided via Steam to register the retail version of Mosaico, available at www.soulidstudio.com !

To get your license code from Steam:

Open Steam client
Right click on Mosaico entry
Select "Show CD Key"

To register the retail version:

Uninstall the Steam version of Mosaico
Download retail setup at www.soulidstudio.com
Install and run
Select "I have a license code"
Insert your license code and click "Register"

Steam and retail version are functionally the same, but you may want to install your copy of Mosaico where you can't install the Steam client (i.e. at work).

This was a feature that many users asked for, I hope it can be useful! If you find anything wrong with this, please feel free to comment here or write to info@soulidstudio.com .

I didn't really understand the description of how to play, but I figure I can find a tutorial or a Lets Play online. does the game have multiplayer? if so I can get a copy for me and my mate. pls respond.

Hardware reset request

One of my friends had his motherboard and processor changed and is unable to install mosaico with his licence because it reports too many hardware activations. He tried to generate the license request file and sent it to registration@licensing.soulidstudio.com and got not reponse still. He also tried to send email to info@soulidstudio.com requesting a hardware reset on his license, still no response. What should he do? Can you guys reset his license or make the license request file works??????...

multitasking is a lie

At most you can only really divide your focus 2 or 3 ways. There is always sacrifice, science has shown, and in my opinion common sense, that if you really want to get stuff done center your focus on one task at a time. just because you can do so much at once, why? also windows 8 has shown that microsoft is, if not leaving the desktop soon, is leaving "windows" to the more full screen/ snapping to the side interface. simpler, cleaner, I look at this stuff and feel so cluttered, words everywhere its disgust...
