Quick Join = connection timed out

last night i played for several hours and almost instantly entered a game lobby as soon as i clicked quick join. however today...and for the last hour absolutely NOTHING. ive tried everything from easy, normal, hard etc and all it says is CONNECTION TIMED OUT. Even when creating my own lobby and allowing public play nope nobody...nothing. Is this game down at the moment or something? steam says over 5k people are playing...you're telling me not one has an open game for the last hr???

In the meantime, please try changing your download region to a different place nearby. This is done in Steam -> Settings -> Downloads.

ok after an 1.5 hrs i was able to finally connect...weird it would take that long though just to find an open lobby

Same problem here. It goes from "Joining Lobby" to "Connecting" really fast, and then it is stuck on "Connecting for a while", and then I get "Connection timed out". Have been trying for like... 50-60 attempts?
