We wanted to take a moment to share an important update about Drive Beyond Horizons. Since we released our trailer and announced a 2024 release date, we’ve been blown away by your enthusiasm and feedback. Your support has truly inspired us to aim higher and deliver something even better than we initially planned.

With that in mind, we’ve made a tough but necessary decision: the release of Drive Beyond Horizons will be pushed back to Q1 2025, with a maximum release date of March 2025.

We understand this might be disappointing, but we hope you’ll understand why we made this choice. With everything we’ve added since the start of development, we realized it’s better to take the extra time to ensure the game meets your expectations (and ours).

Here’s a glimpse of what we’re working on for the final version:

• 10 unique vehicles instead of the 5 originally planned, for more variety and fun.
• Tons of new points of interest to explore, making the adventure even richer.
• 2 new radios featuring fresh playlists to accompany you on the road.
• New weapons and items, offering more gameplay possibilities.
• Exciting new features we’re keeping as a surprise for now.

We could’ve stuck to our original plan, but that wouldn’t have been fair to you. You deserve a game that truly delivers, and we’re working hard to make sure Drive Beyond Horizons exceeds your expectations.

Stay tuned—within the next few weeks, we’ll be making another announcement to reveal the exact release date. For now, just know that the wait won’t go beyond March 2025.

Bug Fixes

1. Resolved the UI issue where hunger and thirst warnings remained active incorrectly.
   
2. Fixed a bug that prevented damage notifications when the player died of hunger or thirst.

New Features and Improvements

1. Vehicle crashes now allow players to eject through the windshield for added realism.
   Explosions now trigger ragdoll physics and switch the camera to a third-person perspective for a limited duration.
   
2. Points of Interest (POIs) have been improved for enhanced exploration and gameplay depth.
   
3. A weight system has been added for vehicles and barrels, introducing new strategic considerations.

1. Attempted crash fix:
   Applied a series of updates aimed at reducing random crashes. Please continue to send your reports to help us improve game stability further.
   
   
2. Floating phone bug:
   The phone will no longer appear floating in the air.
   
   
3. Gas station random explosion:
   Fixed an issue causing gas stations to explode unexpectedly. They now operate as intended without random destruction.
   
   
4. Players walking on fences get teleported:
   Players walking on fences will now be teleported to a safe spot to prevent glitches or exploits.
   
   
5. Inventory disappearing with a bag equipped:
   Inventory is now accessible and no longer disappears when carrying a bag.
   
   
6. Camera glitch when running over zombies:
   The camera will no longer behave erratically when zombies are run over.
   
   
7. Dashboard lighting up without a vehicle:
   Fixed an issue where the vehicle dashboard would light up even when not installed in a car.
   
   
8. Trailer management for the Poyopa vehicle:
   The Poyopa now allows trailers to be attached and detached, enhancing transport capabilities.
   
   
9. Texture streaming pool added:
   A new texture management system has been implemented, improving optimization and reducing texture loading issues.
   
   
10. Seat adjustments for vehicles:
    The seating positions in all cars have been adjusted for a more immersive and realistic driving experience.
    
    
11. No default turbos on engines:
    Vehicle engines no longer come with turbo by default. You will now need to install them manually to enjoy performance boosts.

We’ve rolled out a new hotfix with the following changes:

1. Item Bug Fix: The bug causing issues with items should be resolved, improving gameplay interaction.
   
   
2. Headlight Spawn Fix: Corrected the issue where headlights were spawning on all vehicles unintentionally.

Additionally, we've completely rewritten the terrain code to address multiplayer synchronization problems. This major overhaul will provide smoother gameplay across multiplayer sessions. However, due to the complexity of implementing this new terrain system, hotfixes will be temporarily limited while we integrate and fine-tune this update.

Since the last update, some crashes appears that should be fixed now

The crashes that some players have been experiencing should now be resolved!

Doors now show the correct position and orientation for both clients and hosts.

Soda machines now dispense drinks correctly for clients instead of stealing your pocket change.

Clients will no longer encounter invisible fences blocking their path after being knocked down by a vehicle.

The new electrical system for lights is now implemented! All lights should work no matter how you configure them.

Added version 1 of the Portuguese (Brazil), Arabic and Polish translation. Some corrections are still needed.

The Middle finger emote has been fixed.

The issue with expelling players and making their cars disappear has been fixed.

We’ve just released a new hotfix addressing several important issues:

1. Player Model Adjustment: Fixed an issue where the player's hair would clip through the roof of the Musgoat vehicle. Your stylish locks will now stay safely inside the vehicle.
   
   
2. Zombie Animation Fixes: Resolved a bug causing zombies to "breakdance" upon reanimation. Zombies will now properly resume their undead activities without any unintended dance moves.
   
   
3. Zombie Navigation Improvements: Updated the zombies' navigation mesh (NavMesh) to enhance their ability to track and pursue players more effectively. Zombies are now more capable of finding their way to you.
   
   
4. Zombie Spawn Positioning: Addressed an issue where zombies would occasionally spawn half-buried in the ground. Zombies will now spawn correctly on the surface.
   
   
5. Zombie Car Interaction: Zombies are now slightly less aggressive when attacking vehicles. They will still be a threat but won't tear your car apart as quickly as before.
   
   
6. Zombie Optimization: Improved performance around zombies to reduce potential lag spikes when they are nearby. This optimization should lead to smoother gameplay when navigating through hordes.
   
   
7. Zombie Spawn Distance: Adjusted the spawn distance of zombies, so they now appear slightly further away from the player. This change gives players more time to react to the incoming threat.
   
   
8. Trailer Physics Fix: Fixed an issue where trailers would aggressively flip cars into the air if they slid around the towing vehicle. Trailers should now behave more predictably, reducing the likelihood of unintended aerial stunts.

1. Zombie Rework: improvements and adjustments have been made to the zombie AI and behavior, enhancing the overall survival experience.
   
   
2. Multiplayer Teleportation Bug: Resolved the issue where players were being teleported to the coordinates (0,0,0) unexpectedly during multiplayer sessions.
   
   
3. Crash Fix: The "Out of Bound Array 1024" crash has been fixed, improving game stability.
   
   
4. Musgoat Bug: Fixed the bug where the Musgoat vehicle incorrectly placed a Lada seat in the passenger position.
