We wanted to take a moment to share an important update about Drive Beyond Horizons. Since we released our trailer and announced a 2024 release date, we’ve been blown away by your enthusiasm and feedback. Your support has truly inspired us to aim higher and deliver something even better than we initially planned.

With that in mind, we’ve made a tough but necessary decision: the release of Drive Beyond Horizons will be pushed back to Q1 2025, with a maximum release date of March 2025.

We understand this might be disappointing, but we hope you’ll understand why we made this choice. With everything we’ve added since the start of development, we realized it’s better to take the extra time to ensure the game meets your expectations (and ours).

Here’s a glimpse of what we’re working on for the final version:

• 10 unique vehicles instead of the 5 originally planned, for more variety and fun.
• Tons of new points of interest to explore, making the adventure even richer.
• 2 new radios featuring fresh playlists to accompany you on the road.
• New weapons and items, offering more gameplay possibilities.
• Exciting new features we’re keeping as a surprise for now.

We could’ve stuck to our original plan, but that wouldn’t have been fair to you. You deserve a game that truly delivers, and we’re working hard to make sure Drive Beyond Horizons exceeds your expectations.

Stay tuned—within the next few weeks, we’ll be making another announcement to reveal the exact release date. For now, just know that the wait won’t go beyond March 2025.

Bug Fixes

1. Resolved the UI issue where hunger and thirst warnings remained active incorrectly.
   
2. Fixed a bug that prevented damage notifications when the player died of hunger or thirst.

New Features and Improvements

1. Vehicle crashes now allow players to eject through the windshield for added realism.
   Explosions now trigger ragdoll physics and switch the camera to a third-person perspective for a limited duration.
   
2. Points of Interest (POIs) have been improved for enhanced exploration and gameplay depth.
   
3. A weight system has been added for vehicles and barrels, introducing new strategic considerations.

Achievements

1. "Restorer": Restore a vehicle to its original condition with all its factory parts.
