Just when I thought I understood the rules for 2P I came across 6x6 game #208. On the opening board, F3 is a 2√2. I thought this logically meant that you could immediately clear E3, F2 and F4. However entering a non-mine at any of those squares causes a fail. Of course it does turn out that those squares are non-mines and you can clear them later in the game. Then the very next board I try is 7x7 game #883. On the opening board there are two 2√2 squares. One in the top left hand corner at A1 and the...

In the galleries, some variants are glowing whilst others are dark; Why is that? I am also unsure how the achievements for perfecting the galleries work. Should I just complete one level in each combination perfectly? And would that include both glowing and dark categories?...

I've played minesweeper for decades and while I'm no expert I'm not bad at it. I read the intro saying in expert mode guessing isn't needed and thought great. First game... it's literally impossible to complete without guessing. Or is it only supposed to be possible if you use the hints? Real shame - this looked like it could be fun....
