Excellent remaster. I can definitely see why people think this is the best S&M season. I'm not sure if it's better than Beyond Time And Space, but it's definitely up there. A bittersweet, yet fitting conclusion to Sam and Max as a whole. I finished the whole game without a single walkthrough, which was really fun.

Episode 1: Really promising start to the season, with an entertaining villain.

Episode 2: Great, but doesn't add a whole lot to the story, other than a bit of foreshadowing and lore-building. The puzzles are amazing though.

Episode 3: Masterpiece. It might just be the best episode in all of the telltale Sam and Max games. I'm not kidding.

Episode 4: really good, but some of the puzzles were a bit confusing. It also felt like some parts of the episode were cut. The twist at the end also never really felt like it had time to marinate, but it serves it's purpose. I like the dark atmosphere though.

Episode 5: Disappointing ending. Left a sour taste in my mouth, in an otherwise great season. It had the potential to be amazing as an episode and as an ending, but it fell flat in the end. Some of the puzzles were really stupid and bad, and barely requires you to think at all. The "villain" has the potential to be great, but barely does anything after he's revealed. The whole pay off to the Stinky-arc was also really stupid and felt forced. The ending is fine, but I would have liked it more had it tied up some of the loser ends and given a more proper goodbye to the other characters. Definitely one of my least favorite episodes of Sam and Max, unfortunately. But it does work as an end to the series.

Over-all, great season with a final episode that brings it down a bit for me.
