The Game Doesn't Start!!! Before you go ask for a refund - READ THIS!
Now like it says on the tin, some games just don't wanna play ball when the drivers on your machine works fine on other games but just plainly refused to work for this timeless gem!

I've always had a caveat when buying games from Steam, like making sure it runs on my machine config and buy games within your gaming rig means, however your machine must be in good order before you shoot the developer or ask Steam for a refund! (which by the way I was yay close in doing so!) :D

I usually scavenge PC Gaming Wiki for my go to Tech support but they don't solve all the game's problems when it's to do with your own rig!

So, let's cut to the chase: Steam updates its Steamworks Shared drivers every time you install a new game (no matter which era the game is from, the drivers will try to accommodate your OS, drivers, and all the la di das...), which other platforms like Origin, Ubisoft does too... That's why your rig drivers WILL BE WHACKED over time... in my case the Microsoft Visual C++ drivers are all TWACKED after myriads of games installers claiming it should be on your machine before their games would even think of running... So just simply uninstall and reinstall these drivers from C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Steamworks Shared\_CommonRedist\vcredist and you should be golden...

As you can see from the link below, it's an aged old problem (wish I read it before pulling my hair out!) ;))

Good luck bro, amigo, mon ami...
