Somewhere between X-com and top-down shooter with aliens. Game plays like your typical RTS where you select your squad mates and move them. If you're looking for more arcade approach you might be disappointed. You can turn auto-aim on so for the most part it's just moving your cursor and utilizing some strategy. Character skills level up as you play and you can choose which ability to focus on. Skill system is pretty much simplified so you only choose one of few available attributes. Pace is rather slow but have nice space sci-fi theme. Only 10 missions are available. Basically it's hard to recommend as there're plenty of games in this genre which offer so much more but still it's a nice space marines RTS. Soundtrack is pretty much dope so you can only run the game and enjoy on one sitting if possible.
