How to tell someone's never played their own game
They create a flashlight function that makes it impossible to see anything. -_-
There's a persistent haze that makes it very difficult to see anything, turning on the flashlight and 70% of the screen is solid white.

Combat is *very* lackluster. Shotgun blast, point blank, on a small creature... they don't even flinch, and only does about 20% of their health. -_-
I somehow died, without any indication I was taking damage.

Game looks Sweet... but it needs significant changes to combat to be fun.

Good luck.

I guess you never played System Shock 2 or Prey even. These kinda games don't emphasize combat but rather finding ways to stay alive and conserve your ammo until you really need it. I haven't tried it yet but just don't expect DOOM level combat in an immersive sim. Also your stats have a big effect on your combat. Low shooting will make you miss alot or your bullets do less damage or something. The stats will either gimp you or bring you closer to normal/good combat smoothness.

And what does that have to do with the flashlight? Or lackluster combat? Or lack of indication of giving or receiving damage?
It's like you read what I said, then made up an entire fiction, and replied to that fiction as if I said it.

By the way, we reworked the flashlight and the shotgun and added the damage indication in one of the prev. updates.

Good to hear. Did these updates make it into the Demo? Might have to put it on my wishlist if devs actually pay attention to feedback. ^_^

Of course, the demo contains all the fixes, mechanics and improvements made for the entire project. And there are a lot of changes based on players feedbacks. the game is mostly excists to farm reddit goodboypoints.
it gets spammed like every day in forums from someone calling himself dev

i dont see any real passion in the developing so far. its all about: "hey look that thing i copied you like from game X. so what else you like hehe so i can add it."

Putting non-interactive fire extinguishing activation button next to a fire (that's supposedly been burning there for 52 days) just screams quality immersive sim to me.

Well... if the button worked... it would have already been pushed and the fire would be out. :P
