Xcom perks row missing

Recently started playing Xcom wotc after being away for a while. Everything is loading and playing fine but the xcom perks tree is missing from the promotions screen. I'm not even sure which mod allows this row of abilities. I have the updated community promotion screen installed, I'm using AML, no conflicts showing. I've been through and changed to as many updated mods as I can. any ideas what may be causing this?

but i cant see the row at all, i thought that the row was visible from the start even tough i may not be able to pick that ability until i have the GTS

Your soldiers have APs? If not then one of your mods disable the random perks.

yes they have AP, gaining xcom AP

Last time I ran without mods I needed training center to pick those abilities. It might show question marks beforehand from roster menu but it's hard to recall non modded functionality.

Save game and rush a training center and check.
`GiveFacility AdvancedWarfareCenter 13` Should work.

Otherwise your mods likely an issue.

I rushed the training centre, unfortunately didn show the xcom ability row. I'm not mod savvy enough to understantd what the Give Facility etc@ suggestion you gave is.
It is probably one of the mods, was not sure which ones are likely to influence this bit of the UI.
